Hi, well it started a couple of weeks ago - the volume problem with my concert head unit. I've done a bit of research on this site and decided to opt for a new unit thats compatible with the cd changer in the boot. So, any recommendations for a cassette head unit that'll slot straight in with no messing about with wiring. I'm not the best with electrics so a straight swap would suit me best. I've opted for the cassette unit because I dont have an mp3 player thingy. The only thing I havent considered is replacing it with a new Audi unit - a good/bad idea (from function to cost)? Thanks in anticipation.

The only straight swap is another Concert, otherwise you're looking at wiring adapters and a new changer.
Some Audi dealers do an exchange on a faulty HU, for about £130, or ebay, but no guarantee a secondhand one will be any better.
