Right I currently have A3 TDI 1997.

I have RS6 Reps on.

My car is 5x100 and ET35

Ive got my hands on Set of Merc Barabus Alloys.

They are 5X112 and ET35.

My cars lowered on 40-45mm spax spings.

What size of adapters would I need to get the fitment and ET right.

Ive seen FK ones on ebay for 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm and 35mm to suit.

Are these the right ones? Really appreciate any help given.

Cheers

15 or 20mm will be fine any bigger n i reckon the wheels will stick out too far n the bearings will go a lot quicker.

THey are 18" barabus 5x112, et35 and 8.5jj and they are running 215/35/r18 tyres.
SO what would i need at front and back lads? Cheers

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think you need to go outside with a tape measure mate......

if you're currently wheels are 8j ET35, and the new wheels are 8.5J ET35, with the thinnest possible 15mm adaptors, you'd be looking at ET20.

That'd give you wheels that instantly protrude 15mm more than standard. Add to that the half inch extra rim width, which is spread both inboard and outboard, so you get another 6.35mm of outward protrustion (1/4 inch)

So, basically, using 15mm adaptors, the new rims you have will stick out 21.35mm more than your current rims.

The slight stretch is going to help for sure, but personally, I think it'll be too wide. I rekon at the height your car sits, it'd rub like a *******!

Most of the merc rims people use with adaptrors are ET48, so these come down to Et28-23 with 20-25mm adaptors.
