hi guys,
ive been doing a bit of research(as my clutch has just started to slip)

just wondering first why do people just replace the flywheel and not just get it skimmed?

and what do people think of the ecs kit off awesome-gti??

i had my s3 mapped at jabba and its just started to slip so was looking into the best/most cost affective way to replace the clutch etc...

help an advice appreciated

regards
rob

ignore the piece about the ecs clutch kit...ive now realised its for the 5 speed...doh!

OEM flywheel is more expensive than an aftermarket uprated ones...the diffrence i think is around 150.
and it weighs around the half of the OEM one. Usually single mass flywheels are a bit "louder" than the original ones
There are many good aftermarket flywheels but i havent changed mine yet but im pretty sure someone will answer your question and back it up with numbers and sources :D
