Reseting adaptions?

Just fitted new (refurb maf) do i need to reset the adaptions or will a throttle body reset suffice? on my m3 you just did a sequence with the ignition key to reset...is it similar, or battery off for 20 mins job?

Battery off definately does, Your ment to re-align throttle after dissconnecting battery.

TB reset can be done with vagcom..

Adaptions will happen on the fly as the ECU is constantly monitoring the issue but normally a fault code reset sets things to zero again....

cheers i can do the t/b on my liquid , so if no faults are found i cannot reset adaptions with the liquid guage?

...not sure, you can try or you can just run the engine for a couple of seconds with the MAF disconnected and force a fault
