DV Failure. What Symtoms?

Just had my car remapped and need to soon upgrade my DV,

Was wondering what symptoms to look out for just in case it fails before i change it.

When you change gear you will hear a fluttering noise. This indicates that its ********!

I think ive jinxed myself by posting this post./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/froggie_red.gif

I was driving on the M4 accelerated hard at about 80mph and heared a sort of fluttering/clicking noise that soon cleared. When it cleared it seemed to have more boost, soon after this changed to less boost.

Is this a sign i need a Forge DV upgrade?

go for the AMD Viper DV, i had 2 forges and didnt like them!

why not Forge? I thought these were supposed to be very good.

How do they differ from AMD?
