Turbo help . . .

My turbo started to smoke the other day so... ...

I have saw a T3/T4 mk4 golf turbo (brand new) will it fit on my S3?

Will i have to change any pipework or will it be a straight swap?

A T3/T4 is hybrid turbo of the Garrett variety. Not a straight bolt-on, far from it. You'd need a new exhaust manifold, downpipe, coolant lines (assuming it's water cooled - they're pretty old school), oil feed and return, TIP. That's just the turbo hardware. Lots of work.

The kit was from xs performance not heard good things about them so staying well away from that. I have just gone for a K04 again.
