Saw another insurance thread there and i wondered what other TQ owners are paying for their insurance. I am 25 and for my 2001Y A3 TQ i am paying £620 a year from Admiral.

Anyone else have a similar motor, and similar age - what are you paying?

not bad, bit different, im 21 and drive an a4 2.5 tdi, i pay £748 fully comp with elephant. it made it £300 cheaper by adding my parents as named drivers.

Hello Ian, I'm 26 and just got a quote for £580 fully comp with clean license, full no claims, and one claim in last five years. I got my quote from Tesco's.

I'm 25, 4yrs no claims, about £600 with protected no claims from Bell Direct (part of Admiral I think)

I say "about" because I've done a policy change from my Golf 1.8T, cost me an extra £40. That was £450 when I was 24, with an extra £80 for protected ncb. So £450 + £80 + £40 pro-rata = about £600...

I am 27 and paid approx £650 to Elephant with 4 yrs NCB (protected) for this year on my 2001Y A3 TQ. They were the cheapest by a very long way.

But then my car is parked on the street in Central London so it's going to be more expensive than the average.

Hi - new to the board (and Audi!) - I'm 29 and paid £650 with 4 years no claims on my A3 TQ 2002 - also living in central London with Adrian Flux
