I have put a cold air feed from the air box to the bottom of my bumper.

Will this stop the intercooler from doing its job as im feeding air into the system that has not passed through the intercooler? i was reading something the other day and got the impression that the intercooler cools the air then sends it to the air filter?????

Im not that Knowledgeable so be gentle ( /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif ) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh_roll.gif

Thanks

No no matey. Air gets sucked in through your air filter, through the turbo, where it the temp rises (as its right next to the exhaust gases) THEN passes through the intercooler and on up to the throttle body. So no, the wont effect the intercooler.

Have to say, your theory did put a smile on my face though! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif
