Running out of steam after 4k?

When giving it some in my S3 the initial oomph isn't too bad but after about 4k it really seems to kind of bog down out of power.

I have an MTM map at the moment and I standard DV I think, it makes a very loud wooosh noise though.

I think I have a 007p off my old car somewhere so would fitting that benefit?

Bar that I have a Milltek system, anything else I should get that won't break the bank big style but give me a bit more oomph?

Just seems a bit slow if I am honest!

Stock item making a loud woosh noise? Have you got a cone filter??

Anyway, could be that the diaphragm on the standard DV is split - not uncommon.

Test the 007P and see if it makes any difference. It's a quick and easy test.

lots of wooshing sounds could be boost leak? got vagcom or any other diagnosis stuff?

I had a poke round and the DV seems to be the standard one, Bosch item isn't it?

Filter is standard.
