Ey up you lot!

Had a new clutch and flywheel put on my 99 S3 last week. Drove it home and noticed a knock from the front end. Took it back to the garage and they tried telling me it was a split bush in the one of the wishbones.
Didn't believe this was the knock i could hear so decided to jack the car up today to investigate. Took the nearside front wheel off (as the knock happened on right turns), and noticed there was loads of play in the disc and hub. Pulling and pushing the disc theres about 5mm free play in it, put the wheel on its obviously worse.
The drive shaft moves up and down very slightly too.
Is this due to the nut not being torqued onto the bearing right???

Need to get it back to the garage as soon as to get them to put it right

No, an Audi specialist. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Just tried driving it and its making allsorts of noises now. Must have disturbed something when it was jacked up and the weight taken off the wheel.

AA tow I reckon
