Aftermarket Head unit into 2001 S3

ok guys I have searched for the answer to this but I am getting my head battered.
I have a 2001 S3 with Bose. I want to instal my JVC head unit into it.
which leads do I need to allow it to plug in and work with the installed speakers?

Go to your local audio specialist.

You need a special "BOSE upgraded" 3 way plug as the 2002 plate S3 that I owned needed the exact same one.


Will have 2 black plugs / a red one going into the audi wiring loom.

Can some body clarify?

all i did is completly removed all of the bose sound system including the crappy boot sub. replaced with some decent components at the front and coax at the back. ran in new wires for them. sounds really good. thinking bout purchasing andy macs sub install for extra kick

I am not wanting to go to that level, I have a JVC single din with the colour screen it has MP3 & handsfree that I miss.
