S3 Rear strut brace

Anyone try one and are they worth it?

I'm going to make one for mine with some tubing i have sat in the workshop but if its not worth it then there is no point in making one

Im sure this was discussed and generally thought not to do anything. Cant say Ive looked at my rear struts but I thought they were either very low or level with the boot floor i.e no flex.

The S3 doesnt have rear struts like a FWD trailling arm setup, the damper on the S3 runs towards the bumber and fix's to the chassie rather than up into the boot space so theres not struts to brace. Check out VAGCAT for diagrams to better explain.
