Help! Do our windscreens have sunstrips or 'anti-glare'?

Hey all!

Having my windscreen replaced next week due to crackage and chips and been asked by guy over the phone if it has a dark strip at the top? I wasn't sure, he said it was a anti-glare extra when ordering fron new. Anyone heard of this?

I thought it had so said yes but after inspecting it I don't think it does... Or I can't see it in the light! Looking at pics here it seems darker cars seem to have the darker strip, as mines silver. Anyone know, tempted to ring up and say it doesn't now lol! I don't want it to look to chavy!

Not noticed one on mine either! Just washed it and had to go out and check it!!

possibly replaced at some point for cheaper version.

so I presume my replacement won't be quite the same as the oem... hope it doesn't have a chavy sunstrip as the oem is very subtle!
