Ecu removal

Hi guys, anyone know how to get the ecu off a 2001 s3. Ive taken the wipers and scuttle off, disconected the connectors and taken off the 2 10mm nuts that hold the cage but the rear of the cage is still stuck!! Any ideas????

I didnt have to undo any nuts round the ecu, just pulled it out, is a bit of a tight fit though.

Thanks mate, i didnt want to pull it to hard incase something broke. Thanks, ill give it another go

Suppose it is similar to an A3, there should be a metal catch to the right of the ECU (view from front) that just catches the corner of the ECU housing which you need to just gently push away with a screw driver. The ECU should slide out easily...
