I am hoping to do my 256mm upgrade on the rear brakes this week. Was just wondering if someone could enlighten me on the best way of removing the old calipers and fitting the new ones, in regards to the brake lines? can i clamp them or would i have to drain the fluid etc?

Cheers

Liam

so your saying to drain the caliper?
anybody else know if claming is ok?

You dont have to fully drain the brake fluid. I didn't when I did mine.

I just did a quick swap over of the brake line/banjo to the upgraded caliper and i didn't lose much fluid. Obviously you wil still have to bled the brakes properly afterwards....

i cant remember off the top of my head, but are the standard rear hoses rubber?
