Soft I.C pipes

As above, if the ic pipes (standard rubber ones) have gone soft would these balloon under pressure/boost or cave in?
mine are amazingly soft and wondering what the consequence of this is?

They would ballon under boost! if your worried pick up a 4Ply set on ebay

thought so, yeah, may leave it as i am going to fit a fmic soon so no point buying hoses for standard ic,s for a month or two. thanks

depending on which intercooler kit you buy you may as well get the top hoses
