Alarm Issues

Hi All,

I know this has been covered in detail before, however my search abilities have let me down!

Can I unplug the siren box in the car to stop the thing going off until I get the time to replace the batteries??

I am looking to be able to lock the car with no chance of the alarm going off. Will this work?
