    Audi a3 Stereo syetem identification?

    Hi, I'm new.

This has probably been done to death - but I need to find out what sound system is factory fitted in my A3.

Is there an easy way to identify the system? I have a 2000 model 1.8 sport (non turbo).

It should say it on the front of the headunit mate. Concert etc etc.

If it has BOSE then you'll have a sub in the rear left wheel arch (behind the trim in the boot) and the display will say "BOSE" on it when you turn it on.

All concert stereos also have a sub in the left hand side boot compartment Tom, the Bose sub is slightly different though.

    Cassette - single din.

The sub looks like this one on ebay:

    Tripple post!!!..
I would say thats non-bose buddy.
My bose one has 2 smaller subs in one housing...like: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/audi-a3-s3-bos...item4cee70d1fa

If your single din casette has one knob in the middle its a concert, if it has one knob either side its a chorus.

    Yes, instructions here:
    http://no3ntry.cozywebhost.com/andym...ion_Manual.pdf

This is for a stealth sub but the amp wiring is the same.
