steering wheel centre

After coming out of a TT I notice how bland the steering wheel centre is

I have heard that face lift models have a different design

yes/no, any pics, will it fit my 00

For the new S3 wheel, you have to replace the airbag too... total cost is near £700! not worth it IMO as to me, its the centre bit i dont like! If you do change though, throwing the old S3 wheel my way..it would go to a good home! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What about fitting a TT wheel, is it easy or hard?

They are all easy to fit, just real expensive!

How does the facelift differ? Is it just a different badge mounted in the rim? Awesome GTI sell R32 wheels which are much nicer. They are smaller and more chunky but im not sure they fit?

Facelift has chrome ring surround, not as flash as the TT centre but less bland that all black

Might source one from a breakers either TT or new style

I do have some aluminium on a roll with a sticky back - now there is a days' job and a lot of swearing...
