well I put my S3 in for an MOT on saturday (I know leaving it late) and its failed on broken rear spring, he said the end has broke ( althought I couldnt see it when i jacked it up). This is great timing as im off to the ring on friday, on the ferry at 6am.

Searching through other threads it seems a spring will cost about £60 plus VAT and fairly easy to fit, bit annoying as i was planning to lower it so wouldnt require the spring for long! If anybody has a spare rear spring they could send tomorrow I would be most grateful!

Also had advisorys on a top mount and 2 front lower suspensions arm bushes (which are worn and not excessively moving). Would that require complete new arms? Obviously dont want to be hitting the track with problems like this. Also need to bleed the brakes and change oil and filter.

On the plus side i fitted some DS3000 pads and black diamond grooved discs and they are unreal, there is so much bite you have to be careful braking at high speed

contact westle I'm sure he has/had one for sale
