S3 rear wiper (motor?)

Rear wiper suddenly stopped working and annoyingly is stuck about a 1/3 of the way round.

Have check the fuse, done a quick search on here and come to the conclusion that the motor must have died. How do I get to it? Is there a guide to stripping out the hatchbank inner panel somewhere? I don't want to randomly start yanking it apart.

well ****** me if it didn't magically start working once I'd undone the inner panel. oh well fingers crossed.

It will most likely stop again, They usually do.
Prepare yourself to be replacing the motor at some point.

Yup, itll go eventually. i ended buying a second hand golf one for peanuts

is the A3 one of the same years them same motor? which others fit?
