as above as i seem to be only getting 189g on the liquid guage but boosts to 24psi on a stage 2????
something is wrong somewhere ,,it goes like stink so im guessing i have a bigger maf and the values are out?

If you are using the std air box then you have a std S3 MAF... they are nearly 3"...

If you are only getting 189 g/s then I would imagine the MAF sensor is the culprit...

Boost and airflow aren't the same....

Can still make boost and have poor airflow.... take tyres... no airflow, 32psi... :)

Do you know if the MAF has been changed and when that was?

Check for fault codes then do some third gear runs (using the MAF gauge on liquid) to see what max you get airflow wise... if its not around 200g/s or more then the MAF sensor may be the issue but I have seen engines being strangled by BMC type air boxes... the OEM airbox will flow 300bhp with no probs...

298bhp is a little 'happy' tbh.... most I have seen is 220g/s through a hybrid before now... that wasn't putting out anything near the power you suggest...
