3 Beeps When Braking.

Hi guys,

Just a question about the dreaded 3 beeps! I get them when I am breaking. Along with the beeps, the warning light (!) on the dash flashes!

Any clue as to what the issue is?

Have you checked your brake fluid level? What nick are your discs/pads in?

It could be as simple as an ABS wheel speed sensor - that should show up on VAG-COM if you can get a scan (that'd give a better idea of what it is)...

check your break light bulbs are working.. mine beeps when the bulbs went.

My car was making a high pitched whine when braking while reversing it turned out the pads were gone so to the discs!!!

i was getting the same issue when it happens press the clock dial and it comes up on the dis mines was brake fluid , topped it up today and alas the beeping stopped :icon_thumright:
