1999 S3 APY,Please can someone tell me the correct boost peak or hold psi,I have stage 1 map not sure company,I have been running j valve for couple of years now cant stand boost spikes going to fit new standard valve so i cannot remember what boost was before fitting j valve.

This might be a daft question, but what effect are the boost spikes having on the driveability of the car? I was considering a J valve to add a bit more torque on the cheap!
I would stick with standard valve the j does give bit more boost but not very smooth sometimes jerks feels like misfire,thinks it's hitting limp mode.
