'98 A3 1.8T on 18's

Has anyone got '98 A3 1.8T on 18's and does it scrub and have a really hard ride or is it okay?

Im running 18"x8.5" ET35's... the tyres (Toyo 225/40ZR18) are stretched over a bit too, and they dont, and have never rubbed on anything... Ride is no different to 17's to be honest!
