10k boost it supurb stuff, it decokes the whole engine not just the injectors - i've used it several times and seen results each time

This stuff OK to use? I was informed of several issues with fuels burning to hot for engine components to handle if you use the crappy NOS stuff sold in Halfrauds? Presume this is different stuff?

Yeah 10k boost is a decoking agent, it just cleans off all the **** that has built up - it really is good stuff

    *too hot.

I swear my English goes to pot on website forums!

OK, good to know, would it be worth buying some and using it then? How does it work Mike (pour in to fuel/oil/other??).

    Many thanks!

    Def worth a go.

You spray it direct into the intake (after the MAF), ideally u need someone controlling the throttle while u spray it in.

BAsically you use the whole can (which lasts a lot longer than u expect) you hold the revs at 3k and spray for 1 minute, then leave on idle for 5 mins, then repeat. The amount of smoke that comes out will astound you

Ahh, makes sense (also popped it in Google!). So you would advise this then?

water is a very good decoking agent. ever taken the head off a head gasket failure engine?

water doesnt cost anywhere near as much as stuff off the shelf in halfords. so id give water a try

Mike, would you combine these with a yearly oil and fuel treatment?

Wynn's injection power3. Seems to do the job, mixes with a full tank of fuel and cleans the lines/injectors.

Don't know how it compares to other brands, but I've always trusted Wynn's other prodeucts and never run into any problems. Their diesel "stop smoke" stuff cured the huuuge plume of black crap out the back of my Dad's old work van...

in which case, if you fancy a laugh, let it suck up some soapy water.

the water flash vapourises in there, the steam cleaning is what clean the crowns.

the next bonus you get is how it cleans the rings too. the rings are de-crudded so can expand fully. youll gain compression back if the rings were particulrly mucky

you can pop off a vac hose and let it suck up a pint of water. ive done it before. not on a turbo lump tho because vac hoses dont stay vac

I can onlt go from my experiance and to be honest i've never noticed any difference from a service or any difference from a fuel additive, but I HAVE noticed the difference everytime with 10k boost - I wouldn't say use it every year, perhaps every 30,000 miles, it really is that good.

As for the wynns stuff, i've also tried that and also the STP one, neither really gave any noticable gains, but you oays your money you makes your choice
