right where to start, i bought some coilovers the other day and arrived yesterday so cracked on with fitting them, got the rear done and then came along the rain so i decided to pack up for the day, finished work early today and the sun was out so decided to get cracking on the front, took all nuts bolts ect off and started whacking away at the hub to free the strut how ever i have come to a point wer it is practically a no no to go no further as the driveshaft is now hitting on some metal surround the arb (drivers side) and im pretty dazzled on what i can actually do? im sure everyone must have the same problem? or is it just mine? its 1998 a3, all help and any advice willl be highly appreciated :)
 
There is a sticky at the top of the thread page. Its call Jamex coilovers or something.
 
yer i followed that- was totally 110% helpfull apart from where my shaft is hitting lol
 
I am sure on of the thread creators will be in shortly. sorry for stating the obvious.
 
Can yuo be more specific, is it hitting the ARB itself?.
