Right ive just spent the last 4 hours fitting a forge TIP and a forge D,V relocation,
but there is a sensor that goes into the N75 which now will not reach,
drove it home from work which is 600 meters with out this sensor connected and there was hardly any boost.
Im guessing this is due to the sensor not being connected?
What does the sensor do?
can i just cut it and add some cable to it?
cheers Danny

By sensor I assume you meant the N75 wiring plug???

If you do then it kinda needs that to work hence no boost...

Do you mean the electrical connection that goes onto the N75? The ecu uses the N75 valve to control how much pressure is seen on the actuator, which in turn controls the wastegate of the exhaust turbine. With the connection removed, the N75 will not be working, so full pressure will be seen on the actuator, meaning the wastegate will open alot earlier than normal, hence your not getting any boost. Wastegates without any ecu control are typically set up to open at half the original boost level, incase of N75 failure, which is what yours is doing now.

Personally I would not cut and extend the electrical connection, but maybe extend the TIP connection by adding a length of silicon pipe to it, bringing the N75 closer to the electrical connection.

Have you tried.
