Can anyone give me some advice??
My Airbag light came on some time ago, and when I put it in for a service last week with Isaac Agnew Audi in Belfast, I was expecting them to say it was a sensor, or a faulty connection.

However, they claim that it was the Control Unit, and it would need replaced at a cost of £370 for the part + Labour & VAT, bringing it up to around £500!! The Car is 4 years old with only 36K on the clock.

Is there anywhere I could get this unit for less? Or should I be writing to Audi to complain about this unit failing so soon?

whats the code of the control unit i might have one kicking about?

My air bag light came on and I took it to a local VW/Audi specialist who asked if I'd had the car valeted. I hadn't, but my ice scraper was under the front passenger seat and had caught on the wiring for the seat air bag causing an error code for the air bag igniter. Cost to reset was £10!
No problems since.
