Rotor hat -> spacer engineering help

    Well i finally got new wheels!! I went from 19x8.5 ET35 to a 18x8.5 et30
thinking they would be awesome and clear my coilovers! i was wrong!!! they are rubbing on the coilover! so i had to get a 5mm spacer and space it out 5mm (luckly the bolts had an extra 5mm)

I am really against spacers esp since they are illegal here in Australia

But they sit fine with the 5mm spacer

my question is is there something i can do to this rotor hat

    to make it thicker ?

or spend a bit more cash and get the same wheels in a ET of 15 or 27?

Thoughts anyone? or just live with the 5mm spacer(though if i crash they can void the insurance..)

You could get the rotor mounting bells remade, with 5mm more alloy on the wheel mounting face thus effectively building the 5mm spacer into the rotor mounting bell. You just need to find a good engineering firm to do this for you.

Okay i so i should i got a larger bolt?
    new

    old

I really dont like the style of the new ones but considering there $5 a bolt.. unless somebody knows where to get them cheaper that a hubcentric 5-6mm spacer

so i would need 10 longer bolts by 5mm?
