Hey guys, my 2000 a3 1.8t is due a service in 1k miles according to the computer, its just off 90k. im planning on doing the service myself as i do on all my motors, but i dont have the original handbooks so not sure what is normally involved in the 90k service interval, cambelt was done at 70k so that should be fine.

Is it just an oil, filter and plug change or are there other things involved at 90k?

cheers

its 10 years old now so the service book isnt the most important thing going. why not just make a list of the things that are due and do them?

The owners manual says that cambelt should first be done at 60k and then every 20k after that

sorry - the Audi A3 Haynes manual says that not the owners manual

That can't be correct. Why would the first last 60k and subsequent identical new ones only last 20k. I think you misread that or it is wrong. My S3 has FASH and it certainly did not have a cambelt only 20k after the first
