haldex clutches

got an 51 plate s3 (chrome mirror model 210bhp) just took it in for its 40.000 miles sevice £416.83! and they tell me that my haldex clutch control is broke luckly i still had two weeks warenty left has anyone else had a simler problem with theres

Is it the whole Haldex or just the ECU? Probably worth doing a search on here, but I recall hearing of a fews ECUs that have died /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Just be glad it's under warranty /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The haldex on my car was changed at 28,000 miles /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif,i don't know why though i bought it at 79,000 miles.Cheers Andy

haldex control units are common, i have never had to change a haldex diff yet

i think it was the ecu is this a seprate ecu cause the car has been chipped dont want to lose the extra power and money
