Couple of questions about new keys..
I have a complete key + button fob that I bought off a member on here a while back. The 'key' will need replacing for my car obviously so can I just go to a key cutters and have a new key bit cut or will the whole 'key' part including the plastic need replacing?
I'm guessing the alarm fob part just needs to be recoded for my car. Can any vag place do this or does it need to be Audi themselves?
I can sense my only key is not far from falling to pieces so I thought I best get this done !
