Water leaks

I have been experienceing a water leak into the passenger side footwell of my A3. I thought I knew where it was coming from but having thought I had cured it i was shocked the other day to find it is back. Has anyone else has this problem and if so where does it come in? I thought it was where the bonnet cable comes through the bulkhead, (Drivers side) but seems i am wrong, any help/ advice would be appreciated.

Mine's actually coming in at the other side though, the drivers footwell. I assume it couldn't work its way across from one side to the other so anyone any idea where it might be coming from?

I have had a mod done under warranty! Apparently there is a problem and a grommet had to be replaced I was told it was a modification, so it might be worth checking up on.

Sounds like it's the grommet I have smothered in Sikaflex but I still have the leak??????

I had this same problem when i got my A3, and believe it or not the problem was soooo obviou that it went unnoticed, so feel free to jibe at will.
It turned out to be the black seal around the base of the windscreen, sending water down into the passenger footwell.
After this was re-sealed the leak stopped.

by the way hi all..new here, just got my audi A3 1.6 Sport, and loving it. I now hate subaru drivers by default it seems...
