I'm about to get a leather clad A4 V6 TDI Avant Q. Has anyone used a baby seat with similar seats and if so, what have they used to protect the leather from being indented by the seat frame?? help please before its too late....... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I am sure audi sell baby seats that are designed and complement the car so damage like that can be avoided.......worth asking the dealer.

Thanks, but dont really want that additional expense, the car has just skinned me for over £15K!

Just thought I would put an idea in the pot.

You may just need to get a black or what ever colour leather you have towel to place under the base of the chair you get, to act as a padding between the chair and main leather seat.

You could go one further than this and pop to your nearest car upholsteres (Spelling???) and ask them for a section of leather or vinyl to put on the seats before you put the car seat in?

RIch.
