Hmmm, seems a bit dodgy to me. S3s are usually enthusiast-owned and the seller's description doesn't seem to enthusiastic!
Also, would a 2000 S3 not be pre-facelift? This has facelift lights in the pic.
I'd say that if you asked for a viewing he'd tell you to turn up in some alleyway, alone, and with the £4,500 in cash...
If not then it seems really good value!

It's cat D, but doesn't give any details. What is it with these people do they pay for every word in the advert ?
If I was in the market to buy one and didn't mind a v reg then I would not hesitate on an inspection.....but I would try and go for a later one.
