RNS-E in A3 8L (different climate control)

Hi guys,

I am gonna convert my A3 8L 2002 from 1-din to 2-din, to fit a RNS-E Navi.

The problem is the Climate control panel. It's different when it's 2-din. Do you know if it fits from other Audis? I can't find a used one, and I think a new one is very expensive.

Sorry if my english is bad. I'm from Denmark.

I doubt it as the A6 is completely different & B5 which is that era & closest interms of compatibility is different aswell iirc, you'll need to either be patient or buy one from the dealer mate, I havnt heard of a unit from another chassis being fitted to another chassis if you get me.

you'll have to trim the sat nav unit so just trim the climate aswell
believe me it's alot easier then finding a proper 1 to fit
