S3 Engine cover on an A3 1.8T?

I have an S3 engine cover, and want to fit to my A3 AGU 1.8T.

it doesnt slot on like the old one did as it just doesnt lne up, has anyone fitted one before?

Maybe theres a slight modification I can do?

Ive heard of a braket that allows you to fit it, but cant find it?
