i just bought a cool new gadget for my car today, its an ipod interface that replaces the cd/disc changer so that you can plug your ipod or a usb hard disc into it and control it form the oem audi head unit, didnt wanna get rid of the standard unit. really good managed to get it for 60 quid fitted think they retail about £140 but well woth the money.

I have had a phatbox installed on mine for years, it is basically the same system except it uses a slot-in memory module that holds stupid amounts of mp3 tracks, is controlled through the oem head unit and also replaces the changer.
Been looking to get a Gateway for weeks now, where did you manage to get it for £60 from?

oh my mate works for a audio and alarm company, he said i could have it for cost and then i gave him a bit ro fit it. they are good. takes a bit to get used to searching through the tracks etc.
i may have to invest in something like this, i dont know how but ive managed to lose my whole cd collection out the car?!?!
