Help Can't find CD bus cable

After searching the thread about the cd changer I have looked at the wiring on top of the sub in the boot and near the sear belt reel and can't find any cable, I know it's supposed to look like a din connector bur i can't find anything would this be fitted to an 2002 car and also i have a Alpine cd changer form a Renault i know it may need an adaptor but will it work?

its quite likely its not there. My 2002 S3 didnt.

There was a point where Audi changed the looms, and if you didnt spec a cd changer, you simply didnt get the wiring for it either.
