1997 Airbag ECU fault and brake light question

Hi, had the Airbag light randomly coming on for a while, now today after hooking it upto VAG-COM, its coming up as a faulty airbag ECU and the light wont go off.

Anyone got one lying around they wanna sell?

Also, changed my brake light switch about 2 months ago for a non OE part, last night I noticed the brake lights wer'nt working, but they are again now, is it worth changing the switch for a genuine part?
