Hi all, just need a bit of advice. I am running the Brembo (junior GT) brake package on my 2002 S3 front brakes, and need to desperatly replace the front pads as I am hearing a loud crunching now when I brake! Not good!
Im considering getting the Ferodo DS pads for the front and similar pads for the rear, even though the back brakes are standard.
What I need to know are the DS Ferodo pads any good and will they work well with the Brembo calipers and Discs I have already? I do not really want to spend more on Brembo pads if they are equally as good as the Ferodo's.
Also, are the pads I need the exact same ones that fit the Seat Leon Cupra R, which has Brembo brakes also??? As I am having difficulty finding pads to fit the Brembo calipers.
Where are the best (and cheapest!) place to buy the pads from???
Also, are they easy to fit??
