can you tell me guys is it simple to replace a audi symphony headunit for my chorus version - the reason i need to do the switch is because mine is facked!

i know underneath the original headunit is a storage compartment but can this be removed and do i need any special casing to fit the symphony headunit

Yes you need a donor double DIN centre console as the climate controls have to move down to make way. Just buy a replacement single DIN unit = a lot less hassle.

I have the same problem... You are better off with a quality after market unit; Alpine, Kenwood, etc... You can get cage adapters that fit the extra wide audi slots.

Good luck whatever you decide, there are ways to get over both obstacles. ;-)

TBH bud would stick with a decent single din, have a symphony 11 in my A3 and it aint that clever, had a Sony x-plode in a previous car, much better sound
