    I have a 1997 A3 TDI.

Would a 1.8T 1999 A3 Rear caliper fit my TDI?

    Cheers would really help.

10 minutes between your first and second post, give the thread a chance for people to reply. I personally don't know 100%, but if the disk sizes are both the same and solid, then the answer is yes, I believe the rear calipers of A3/A4/Golf/Passat etc for solid rear disks are all the same, but I stand to be corrected.

both cars you mentioned use a 232x9mm solid rear disc, and the same rear calipers.

SO yes, they will fit fine.
