Front lamba sensor and thermostat

ok im going to replace the first/front lamba probe and also the thermostat
genuine or not ?

i have had 3 prices from tps euro and gsf

front lamba
gsf 98+vat
tps 120
euro 86+vat i think

thermostat
gsf 8.75+vat
tps 15.77
euro 7+vat

does it really matter for these 2 parts genuine or not

also how much anti freeze do i need after changing the stat, do i replace the whole system?

I had 2 stats from GSF and they both failed within few weeks, maybe a bad batch. Got a stat from TPS, genuine and the cars been fine every since touch wood.

I will always go genuine from now on if the price is not that much different.

If you drain the whole system when doing the stat you will need about 4.5 -5 litres of coolant so you will need two bottles of G12+ as they only come in 1.5 litres, leaves you some for top up as its a 50 / 50 mixture.
