i think he means the water p!ss!ng in when you open the window is not too great a design
 
This car would do alot of damage to other cars out there. This car has the right to be called an RS3. I think it looks the sex! Faz, need a kidney yet? lol

Even when they're shut & rains it still fecks up number of things on the newer 8P

Also those quadback cutouts & metal trims are abolsutely *****, make the whole car look like a chav's motor no matter whats under hood, I remember seeing this on previous MTM S3 uprated & it sucks big time, but the car goes like ***** of a shovel, but for me that tailpipe trim would put me of straight away.

Yeah to be honest I did look into the R32 turbo after selling my supercharged one, I just didnt want a car with an engine that was getting pushed as far as it could go?

Remap, intake and exhaust 470 bhp bundles of torque, just preferred the power delivery on this one ;)
 
absolutely stunning car, the go must be awesome, this is gods s3, the front bumper is one of my favorite parts, stunning, just stunning, as soon as you sell you will miss this monster, bet the sound when your spanking it is immense

I'm so tempted to do this conversion myself, But it will and would be a lot of hard work. And would probabily take me at least two years to complete. I have converted a little 1.6gti into a beast of Mi16 with trottle bodies (Bye bye porsch), but that was eaiser and only a few parts to fabricate.

Looking at the figures can't fault the price of 20k, that hows much the car means to Fez, it's not material value.

would properly cost me about 10-12k for all the standard parts. Without even putting it together.

If i had 20k to spare, then i would buy it.
 
putting an mi16 into a 205 isnt going to be comparable to converting a 8L a3 to run RS4 running gear. a custom front subframe till be just the start of it. good luck though
 
I think it's a stunning car and if i had the money would snap it up.... if you have the money for that sort of motor then you have the money to sort cosmetic things that you may or may not like.... in all honesty after having read through the entire thread i think the way Faz has been treated is very unfare.... i don't know him from Adam but he didn't start this thread, all he did was advertise his car and then got dragged in here by people wanting to know why..... i think you've handled the critisism's very well Faz so hats off to you and good luck in finding a buyer for what to me is a car Audi should have built in the first place

On a more serious note though, i've read all the posts in the thread, most of which are constructive. I wish you all the luck with the sale Faz. Shame I didn't detail this motor for you before you sold it, i've just detailed a RV8, lovely cars, sound awesome.

I've not had the pleasure of being a passenger in the RS4 engined S3, but your last one was a pleasure to detail and be a passenger in. I guess I was suprised at the MTM Stage 3 as I thought it would be more aggressive in power delivery, don't get me wrong it was fast, but not breathtaking. It's more to do with the power delivery of the engine, it was just as smooth as stock, but more oomph!!

My M3 Evo was a different kind of fast, more Raw. So it felt faster. I believe every word you say Faz about your current car, the work involved etc. But I do somehow have a little doubt in my mind about the supercar (Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche) status.

Does it keep with say a stock 911 Turbo?

If you keep the car Faz, i'd love to detail it, had a lot of fun detailing the last one! :)

Out of curiosity Faz, what kind of insurance cost are you looking at?

To all who rant about reliability, surely with the mods it has & all the right running gear i'd say it'll be as reliable as any other Audi as long as its serviced.

Also as far as fuel economy goes, surely it should be better than a RS4, with it being lighter?

My only concern with this would be the handling. Is it more of a point & squirt machine? I mean the standard S3 never was a great cornering car, without that heavy lump over the front...

Insurance is reasonable, there are many specialists insurance companies that will cover it.

Fuel economy is good and it is a very reliable motor.

Handling, I can honestly say I have had no issues with it and I think it handles pretty good, just like any other S3 with a good set of coilovers and some good tyres ;)

Its not gone anywhere yet just testing the water.

The old had a smoothed power delivery, I liked it alot...same with this its not a violent power delivery...

Well I know what this car has seen off and what it is capable of, whatever anyone else thinks or doubts, good for them. ;)
