How much oil do you go through?

My S3 goes through quite alot of oil. It did blow blue smoke but now doesnt seem to since i changed one of the turbo pipes that had split. But it only been 2 week. Before i was using a litre a month. I do drive hard though.
Is this norm

no more than 3/4 litre per month. i don't drive it that hard, but do cover 800miles in that time tho.

I don't do loads of miles. I've had the same litre of oil for topping up for about 18 months now in my 1.8TS

i use loads of oil!my engine is fully forged and it does burn oil but im not loosing performance or anything!i find im topping it up every week nearly but i do about 700-1000 miles a week?is this normal?

i use shed loads lol so i dunno i find myself checking every other day just incase!

change from 0w to 5w. Vag changed there oils to this.

i use 10w50 race oil to keep the viscosity thick at high temps and it still doesnt really help!i just keep it topped up so that way it wont break lol!!

10w 40 is what i use I find it last a little longer but still vanishes.
