Another key

Any idea how much its going to cost me to have a another key made up? ive tryed a few places but all tell me they cant read the code in there computre so is there any where esle u may know of in the london area or do i have to take it to main dealer?

If so how much you reckon?

I think a key from a dealer fully coded up is between £150-200, if you could get a blank cut to the same as yours from ebay, and the correct model number for the fob bit, then get Audi to code it all, then it may well be cheaper?

A couple of years ago VW Cardiff quoted me £60 to cut & code a customer supplied blank key.

i bought a key of ebay with a new blanck for £23, got the blank cut at keyways near me for a fiver and then asked my mate whose got vagcom to program the immobiliser. then i just did the central locking fob trick easy.
