Do I need a new air filter?

Hi Guys,
sorry for the really nooby question but I couldn't find the answer anywhere and figured you guys might know.

I've uploaded a couple of pictures of my air filter from my 2000 A3 1.6.
Is this air filter ok or do I need to replace it? I drive mainly around country roads.

A shameless plug I know but I'm selling one right now on ebay, finishing very soon. It's for a 1.8T so not sure if it'll fit. It looks like it'll sell for a very low price and I'd rather someone off this site gets it for this price!

Darn it. Just missed your auction Terrier QTS. Funny enough I was getting stuff ready to sell on eBay.

I'll go with the consensus and buy a new air filter.

Yeah, someone's got a bargain!! I'm not at all bothered though, I got an even better bargain when I won the BMC filter I'm currently running...99p!!!

Yup that filter has seen better days, I'd get a nice shiney new one...

A nice shiny new one is on order...aswell as spark plugs, oi, oil filter and a new clutch. Just bought the car but it hasn't had a proper service for a while.
