Standard S3 wheels

Hi all

Quick one regarding the standard Ronal wheels.

Just away to fit them for the winter after having them re-furbed & the bolts seem to be a bit long. Am i right in thinking there should be some steel inserts in the bolt holes which are now missing?

Any chance someone could go & take a look at theirs?

Was you running spacers on your aftermarket rims? I keep a set of standard VAG bolts in my boot for my spacesaver, because I'm running spacers. Even without the spacers, my Porsche replicas needed longer bolts anyways.

Hi Jo

I did have spacers on the fronts, but only 3mm enough to clear the calipers.

I did dig out the original bolts from the garage & they were a little shorter, but they still look as if they go too far into the taper when tightened...


Ideas???
